Aerotec was selected by a well-known equipment manufacture to design and build a silencer for a generator cabinet.
Ausgangssituation:
The continuous running generator is located beside a housing estate. In the estate a noise level of 56dB was measured.
measure:
Aerotec Europe designed a silencer based on the third-octave band of the generator. With a combination of weather protection louver and isolation baffle the sound level could be reduced to 35dB.
The design as well take in consideration the amount of fresh air and exhaust air to ensure the performance of the generator
